Can we include you in our Rosh Hashana greetings to the community?

Friday, 15 July, 2016 - 12:42 pm

We hope you are having a fantastic summer!

Winnipeg's Jewish Calendar is published each year by Chabad-Lubavitch in time for the Jewish new year and thousands are distributed free-of-charge at local community centres, schools, supermarkets and to subscribers of the Jewish Post & News.

The calendar features a list of Rosh Hashana greetings, wishing the entire community a shana tova. We invite you to add your family names with a minimum contribution of $36. You can also sponsor a special date in honor of a yahrtzeit, birthday or anniversary. Each date dedication will appear on the actual date of occurrence and can be reserved with a minimum contribution of $100.

To conveniently add your name to the greeting list or to dedicate your special calendar dates, please submit this secure online form by Friday, July 29th, 2016.

The calendar campaign is an annual fundraiser for Chabad and we would very much appreciate if you can donate generously.

Why we need your help:

Chabad-Lubavitch provides Jewish education, outreach and social service programming for families and individuals of all ages, backgrounds and affiliations. Thousands are touched by Chabad each year through our school, day camps, early childcare centre, synagogue, adult education institute, library, kosher kitchen, community mikvah, family workshops, youth groups, and holiday programming.

We are not supported by any central office nor do we charge membership. We depend entirely on charitable contributions from local individuals and corporations to cover our 1.3 million dollar operating budget. Behind each life we transform, there's someone--just like you--whose generosity made it possible. And 100% of every donation stays local for Winnipeg's Jewish community.

Your kind and generous gift will enable us to share the beauty and depth of Judaism with the next generation.
