Camp Gan Israel Registration NOW OPEN

We are excited to announce Camp Gan Israel will be opening this summer!

We all know how important Camp Gan Israel is for our children in a regular year, and that need has only increased after so many months of uncertainty and isolation.

Please note that due to the current regulations there have been many changes to the program, schedule and safety precautions.

Please click here and read through the summary of changes before enrolling your child.

Camp Gan Israel UPDATE

This year, we are looking forward to an exciting Camp Gan Israel experience, however, we will need to modify the program to conform to current regulations. We would like your input, as a parent, to help us create the best program possible within the required guidelines.

Please take a moment to fill out this survey to help us understand your current needs as we continue to plan for different possibilities.

A New Virtual JLI Course

Due to the current situation, we will be postponing our spring course, Secrets of the Bible, to a yet-to-be-determined date. This will allow us to enjoy the complete, in-person course experience together once this crisis is over. If you already paid for the course, you can expect a full refund.

Instead, we invite you to join Judaism At Home, a five-part Jewish literacy series about how Judaism is observed at home that we are offering online. This offering will touch on many areas, ranging from the things we do upon waking, to how we eat our meals, elements of prayer, and the basics of Shabbat. The content will include practical guidance, in the style of DIY, as well as deeper insights about why we do what we do.

High Holidays at Chabad

We at Chabad join you in hope and prayer as together we approach the new Jewish year of 5780.

This is the season that is the "engine" that propels and guides the journey that is the coming year. It’s an opportunity for growth, inspiration, and renewal. Together we'll listen to the call of the Shofar, taste the sweetness of the Apple-and-Honey, and recommit to G-d on Yom Kippur.

We look forward to celebrating together as a community -- and with your pre-holiday preparation online at www.ChabadWinnipeg.org.

Wishing you a happy & sweet New Year!
