Gan Israel Summer Day Camp

​We are excited to announce Camp Gan Israel will be opening this summer!

We all know how important Camp Gan Israel is for our children in a regular year, and that need has only increased after so many months of uncertainty and isolation. 

Please note that due to the current regulations there have been many changes to the program, schedule and safety precautions. Please read through the summary below to ensure you fully understand the program. ​This information may be revised as the situation, laws, guidelines change.​


Notable changes for this year:


  • Programs and ​activities ​will take place in the camp building ​and​ nearby fields, parks and outdoor areas.
  • There will be no trips or swimming.
  • The camp day will run from 10:00am till 2:30pm. (ending time may be extended)
  • There will not be any early-care or after-care.
  • Staff and campers will be required to complete daily screening questionnaires and have their temperature taken.
  • Children that are unwell, have an elevated temperature, or have symptoms of the virus will not be allowed to attend camp.
  • Campers will be expected to cough and sneeze into their elbows.
  • There will be increased handwashing, and more frequent cleaning and disinfecting.
  • To comply with current regulations, we will only be accepting a limited number of campers.
  • We are currently only offering this program to children who have completed grade 1 and older. 
    (If circumstances allow, we may be able to accept younger returning campers. Feel free to apply to be put on a waiting list.)
