Chabad Torah Tots is a community for children where the seeds of positive learning, proud Jewish identity, language communication and independence are planted. At Torah Tots, we see each child entrusted into our care as a unique and precious gift with infinite potential to absorb, grow and become.

We offer a unique combination of preschool and early childcare, providing a program of unparalleled quality coupled with the convenience of long hours and exceptional care. Small classes and a high student-teacher ratio ensure each child receives individual attention.

We employ a combination of trained early childhood educators, qualified Manitoba teachers and Judaic instructors, providing the necessary tools and a nurturing environment to foster and inspire growth in all areas of your child’s development.

Our acclaimed Project TEAM gives children insight into their emotional world and instills Jewish values of honesty, responsibility and respect. Our innovative Behavioral Victory Method approach empowers your child to build strong friendships and make good choices.

We offer a full day of fresh, nutritious snacks and a healthy kosher lunch by Grandma Alla. Give yourself more time in the morning and leave the shopping, preparing and packing up to us!

Our students enjoy cutting-edge specialty programming including professional Art and Drama classes, an award-winning Music and Movement program, holiday and family events, Bayit Cham play-dates, Layla Tov home visits, challah baking and a weekly Shabbat Party. With an emphasis on hands-on exploration and sensory development activities, we provide meaningful learning experiences that spark creativity and innovation.

We keep up to date with current early childhood best practices and incorporate the latest research into our program, in a colorful and exciting way. Our curriculum combines structured and unstructured activities that encourage young children’s most important work-creative play.

We provide a uniquely Jewish experience which inspires all areas of development, producing a well-mannered, well-adjusted, happy and gracious individual. Give the little people in your family a strong Jewish foundation!

Each of our three classrooms are equipped with top of the line toys and games, providing the ultimate environment for children to learn and play. We have a beautifully designed dramatic play area, cozy corner, music centre, quiet reading zone, light table, gym and kitchenette. Outside, we have a nature park, the Joe Malone Park, and a retention pond where we go tobogganing in the winter and enjoy the beautiful outdoors in the summer!

Remember, your child's first experience will set the tone for life!

Toddler Class (Ages 2 & 3)
The focus in our toddler program is on four key developmental areas: sensory and perceptual development, self-help skills, physical and motor skills and social and emotional growth. The first few years of your child’s life are crucial to the development of personality and intellect. This is a period during which learning takes place at an accelerated pace. We provide the sense of security and loving care that pre-nursery children need to thrive during this stage of intense learning, learning to trust caregivers and to respect others. Since toddlers are especially committed to achieving independence, our teachers provide responsive individual attention as your child deals with positive experiences as well as frustration. We focus on labeling our feelings, and practicing every day experiences and challenges. Our curriculum takes advantage of the rapid growth of gross and fine motor skills at this stage of development.

JK Class (Ages 3 & 4)
Our Junior Kindergarten Program is structured with opportunities that promote all around healthy living; enabling the children to gain confidence and independence while they build their coordination and movements, problem solving techniques and social skills. Placing emphasis on Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, and Mathematics, the children explore and discover, gaining a deep understanding of themselves, the world, and how the two relate. Developing concentration, learning good working habits, sharpening their senses; learning to communicate, distinguish, categorize, and relate new information are all examples of skills gained. The program is planned with activities that provide the very foundation on which the child approaches more intricate academic exercises, and lays the foundation for future learning, while emphasizing proper manners and positive sportsmanship.

Kindergarten Class (Age 5)
Following Manitoba’s Curriculum, our Kindergarten program is designed to provide your child with all the tools to be fully equipped to enter elementary school. Through Jewish themes, the children will sharpen their Cognitive, Physical, Language, and Mathematical skills, while gaining a deep love for learning. The program will include formal learning settings as well as hands on exploration. Emphasis is placed on building friendships, and the individual’s talents and capabilities, laying the foundation for positive self-esteem and commitment to lifelong learning.
