We are excited to announce JLI's newest initiative "Chabad Young Professionals". Chabad Young Professionals aims to build, educate, engage, and energize a young and vibrant Jewish community. The ongoing social and educational programming will be specifically geared to the young professional community, creating a sense of enrichment and belonging amongst young Jewish adults.
Young Jewish professionals are invited to attend a weekly "Mesibat Shabbat" program from 4:00 - 5:00 PM on Shabbat afternoons at the home of Rabbi Shmuly & Adina Altein, 901 Shaftesbury Blvd (next door to the Shaftesbury Retirement Residence). While children enjoy an exciting kids program, adults will study "Judaism 101"; a weekly JLI lesson on the essentials of Judaism followed by a round table discussion. You will walk away surprised, inspired, and knowing more about whom we are as Jews, and who you are as an individual.
