Its a Party!
Bring your entire family on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 5:00pm, for a fun family Chanukah celebration and community menorah lighting at the Jewish Learning Centre, 1845 Mathers Avenue. Hot latkas and sufganiyot will be served. No need to register, as admission is free!
Food Can Drive
You CAN light up a life this Chanukah by bringing food cans for the CAN-ORAH!!! (Menorah made out of cans). Cans will be used to construct a large Menorah at the Chabad Chanukah celebration. Cans will be donated to the “JCFS food pantry” and truly make a difference in people's lives.
Light Up The Night
The community-wide Chanukah celebration will be followed by a spectacular fireworks show outside, by Big Top Fireworks, at approximately 6:00pm.
Car Menorah Parade
Finally, a police-escorted car menorah parade will leave the Jewish Learning Centre at 6:30pm to spread the joy and optimism of Chanukah en masse`.
