6:37 PM: Candle Lighting (Make sure a 2 day candle is lit, for use tomorrow night). 2 Blessings, Yom Tov & Shehechiyanu 

It is an obligation for men to eat bread or Challah in the Sukkah tonight, with the blessing 'Leisheiv Basukkah' & Shehechiyanu if not recited by Kiddush or Candle lighting.

Tuesday, October 7

10:00 AM Shacharis, including shaking the Lulav. (some do so in the Sukkah before prayers).

6:45 PM Mincha & Maariv

Light Candles 7:28 PM, from an existing flame. 2 Blessings, Yom Tov and Shehechiyanu.

8:30 AM - Shacharis, including all 7 Hoshanot and 'wacking the Aravah'.

 

Shmini Atzeres & Simchas Torah

Candle Lighting at 6:23 pm. Make sure to use a 2 day candle, for use tomorrow night.

Mincha/Maariv at 6:00 PM,

1st night of Hakafot! at 6:30 PM.

Tonight and tomorrow we eat in the sukkah, without a Bracha

Yizkor - approximately 12:00 PM

6:25 PM Mincha

After 6:55 PM - Light Yom Tov Candles from an existing flame, make Kiddush

7:00 PM HAKAFOT - rejoicing with the Torah, throughout the night!

11:00 AM Kiddush and preparation for Hakafos

11:15am Children's Program by Torah Tots

11:30am Hakafot
