During the campaign, EVERY donation is QUADRUPLED, thanks to a very generous group of matching donors who have agreed to match every donation, dollar for dollar.

We are not supported by any central office; we depend entirely on charitable contributions from local individuals to cover our 1.3 million dollar budget. Over 55% of our budget is funded by local contributions and 100% of the money is invested locally to enrich Jewish life in Winnipeg. ABOUT CHABAD:

Chabad-Lubavitch has been serving Winnipeg's Jewish community for almost a century. The old Lubavitcher Shul on Magnus Avenue was founded in 1922 and the Lubavitch Centre in Garden City was established in 1980. Now operating from the Jewish Learning Centre in River Heights, Chabad's community outreach programs have grown to include a Jewish day school, day camp, an early childcare centre, adult education institute, Jewish library, kosher kitchen, women's mikvah, family workshops, hospital visitations, youth groups, and community-wide holiday events.
