Bat Mitzvah Club Orientation 2012/13

The Bat Mitzvah Club is for all Jewish girls in grade six to come together and learn about Judaism, meet other Jewish girls the same age, and have loads of fun!

The Bat Mitzvah Club is a place to grow, learn, and get involved. It shows girls why a Bat Mitzvah is much more than a party; it's a life-changing experience!

Get to know your Jewish self through art, creative writing, and community outreach. Discuss hot topics. Share your interests, goals, hopes, and dreams.

New Series on Pirkei Avos with Rabbi Avrohom Altein

Please join us for a fascinating series on Pirkei Avos, with thought-provoking commentaries culled from the timeless wisdom of great Jewish scholars and beautiful insights of Chassidus.

Midnight Torah Study

Jews throughout the world observe the centuries-old custom of conducting an all-night vigil dedication to Torah learning on the first night of Shavuot. Please join us for a midnight JLI Torah Studies class at the home of Rabbi Shmuly & Adina Altein, 901 Shaftesbury Blvd on Shabbat evening, May 26 at midnight.

The Kabbalah of Cheesecake: What's the Fuss over Milk and Meat?
Unyielding. Compassionate. Standing firm. Giving in. What is the ideal temperament? This lesson sheds Kabbalistic insight into the relevance of Torah here on earth, and the laws of mixing milk and meat.

Join us for the Reading of the Ten Commandments, a great Children’s program, and a Shavuos Ice cream sundae bar followed by a grand Kiddush in honour of Golda Ita's birth to Rabbi Shmuly and Adina Altein. The entire community is invited.
