Learn how to make a shofar from scratch. Saw it, drill it, sand it and learn how to blow it too!

Part One: 1:00-1:45pm
Join us as we explore the history and origins of this ancient instrument.
Where does it come from, how is it sounded and what meaning does it convey to Rosh Hashanah. We will then turn a real horn into a Shofar and learn how to blow it.
Family program geared for ages 6 and up.
Suggested donation: $ 3.00 per person - (includes raffle ticket for the group Shofar)

Part Two: 2:00-3:00pm
After the presentation we will have a few horns that YOU can craft into a Kosher Shofar. This is a rare opportunity to make your very own authentic masterpiece that can be used this Rosh Hashanah.  (Parental assistance recommended for children under 12)
Cost: $ 25 per Shofar. Supplies are limited, please reserve early to avoid disappointment.
