Celebrate Shavuot at Chabad

Monday, 7 May, 2018 - 2:02 pm

Shavuot, a two-day holiday, coincides with the date that G‑d gave the Torah to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai more than 3,300 years ago. It comes after 49 days of eager counting, as we prepared ourselves for this special day. Please join us this year for a fun, meaningful Shavuot experience!

Grand Ice Cream Party Calling on all men, women and children! Join us at 11:00 am on Sunday, May 20 for the reading of the Ten Commandments, followed by our annual Torah Tots bikurim parade, special children's programs, and a delicious ice cream sundae bar!

Kiddush Luncheon Everyone is invited to a special kiddush luncheon on Sunday, May 20 following morning services to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Mendel Altein, Rabbi Avrohom & Brocha Altein's youngest son.

Yizkor Services will be held on Monday, May 21 at approximately 11:30 am. The yizkor memorial service is an act of solemn piety and an expression of profound respect as we pay homage to our forebears.

We look forward to celebrating the holiday together with you!
