There is no other book of Torah that explains Judaism, its laws and its philosophy of life, with the level of clarity and in the comprehensive and systematic way that the Rambam does.
Many people have studied the "Shas" (Gemoro or Talmud) for years and although they covered many pages, yet their understanding of Torah remains piecemeal and fragmented. The Rambam, in his magnificent set of volumes called "Mishne Torah," explains all the 613 Mitzvos, the Halachos that explain how to do the Mitzvos, and the meaninfg and beliefs that are at the core of those laws. And he does all this in lucid and clear text.
By doing the weekly RAMBAM, we hope that you, as a participant, will gradually accumulate a clear knowledge and understanding of the Torah's Mitzvos and laws, the Halacha and its ramifications.
